It had been quite a long while since she had been to the battlefield. Years perhaps. Though now she had returned and sought to integrate herself back into the world she had grown up in, but with a new outlook. The once shy and fearful girl had died long ago, replaced by a battle-hardened warrior who feared nothing, not even death itself. The Spartans were good at what they did, and she wanted to be like them. So she became one. She learned everything she could during her time with them. She had taken quickly to their culture and their ways, it was almost as if she had been born among them. As if they were her true brethren by blood, and not just by name.
Her mother was gone. Her siblings scattered across the four winds and her Spartan family had not yet arrived. She had no children of her own as of yet, so there was nothing holding her back or keeping her in one set place. Here in Boreas, she felt like she was without purpose. Back in the Spartan lands, she taught budding warriors how to fight and navigate the landscapes. But here? She felt like she was nothing. She had been gone so long and interacted so little in her younger days that she knew nobody knew who she was. She was a ghost in the lands, and being invisible did not settle well with her.
So when she spotted the young black and gold painted male with his two charges, she did not hesitate in approaching him. He was younger than her, though by now she was sure most were. He was handsome, the two dogs at his side seemed apprehensive yet protective. "Greetings, stranger. You stand on the battlefield which tells me you are here for perhaps one of two things, if not both." Her lips quirked in a small grin as she studied him. She didn't know who he was, but then again, she didn't know anyone anymore.
