As Relm grew older, she was having more issues with the way her father had been treating her her whole life. Sure it was nice to have freedom and do whatever she wanted whenever she wanted, but it almost made her feel like Kefka didn't care enough about her. His lack of physical contact in her youth made the hurtful feelings become stronger. It was a natural instinct especially while she was out a mother that she wanted to be close to Kefka, but unknowingly to her he struggled with an anxiety he wouldn't admit to anyone. The he would lose control with his own daughter as he had with Agria. The northern lands had continued to grow colder, and the Devil's Spout may have given off even just a warm atmosphere. But not only was it dormant at all other seasons but the winter, the entire geyser was frozen under a sheet of ice. Relm was disappointed to say the least, Looking down and around at the shiny surface with disgust. She was expecting to come here, north of her home, to catch some warmth over the extended winter. And all she found was ice. She wondered if Auster was as cold as it was up here and the southern continent was constantly on her mind. But Kefka still kept ties to a woman who was never around, and it was starting to make Relm resent him. Why couldn't they just move down to Auster where they both loved to be? For now though she was just getting pissed off that she came to the spout for no reason at all. |
