To The Edge Of The Earth

Perhaps Sparrow had been brought in by the promised warmth- though scalding and otherwise deadly- that the geyser had to give. Maybe she was just bored. She had been navigating the north for some time now and she decided that, nope, she didn't really like it all that much. Sure some hardened warrior might want to make land here or something, but Sparrow was pretty sure with the lack of food the only wolves here would be emaciated any time of year other than spring. Okay, maybe that was a bit of a stretch, but still, she did not plan on coming back here unless she was fleeing which... wasn't all that unlikely with the planned raids in the future.

Though the geyser was nearly in view, except it wasn't. Sparrow tilted her head. She was sure... somewhere here. What DID stick out like a sore thumb (what's a thumb?) was the neon pink wolf ahead. At first, she thought it must have lost all its fur and had its skin scalded by the heat but... no there was fur. Well, sometimes fur got stained by berries and stuff- Sparrow knew from winemaking. Or maybe this wolf was actually wearing a shirt like her father did. While it may have been somewhat strange in hue, the wolf was otherwise normal looking- no horns, scales, strange paws, or glowing. Well that was good. Probably.

"Pssst! she called, "You seen a beam of scalding water near here?"
