How do I ask this...

Naiche sat down, eyeing his breath as it became fog in the chill air. What had he wanted to ask her about? Well, how was he supposed to ask it without going into details? “So,” Naiche looked out at the familiar view that he hadn’t seen for two nights now. “I was wondering,” glancing back to Tamsyn to face the one he was speaking to, “If there was a girl I thought should get a present, what sort of thing would she want for a present? Are there certain things that you might work better for a present? You know, generally speaking. What would normally work well?” He really did want the answer but he really didn’t love admitting he wanted to get Asla a present.

Asla didn’t really need a present anyway. This was silly. Naiche sighed inwardly. He was no good with words for affection and didn’t want to admit to anything either way but maybe he could at least show he thought of her? A gift for, uh, respecting her? This was so weird. Tamsyn would have an answer, right? Without asking lots of questions?
