Where are you, kitty?

After the saber cat attack the night before last she knew many wolves in the pack were are a little on edge - herself included. She had been constantly patrolling around the pack since then and had even started venturing into the lands that surrounded theirs. Even though she was pretty certain that many of the large cats had ended up being killed that night, she felt certain that there were at least a few that had run off and escaped and she continued to worry that they might return for another round. There was also no way for them to know if the cats that attacked them were the entirety of the odd felines or if there were more of them hiding out somewhere near by. She wished she had the time or energy to search every inch of Auster just to be sure, but that wasn't logical.
What she could do though was search just a bit further beyond the usual stomping grounds and use it as an excuse to spend more time with one of her children. While she normally wouldn't consider taking them out on what she considered a potentially dangerous mission, she had seen on more than one occasion how much her children had grown and how well some of them had taken to their fighting lessons. She had to stop treating them like pups at some point - as much as she wished they could have stayed little pups forever. She approached the canyon with Rudyard, her mint gaze scanning the terrain closely. "Keep your eyes open and let me know if you find anything, okay? Don't engage anyone or anything without me."
