Paws worked hard to pull the frozen earth away from itself. Claws dug in to loosen the loamy soil and wide paws scooped it away. So intent was he on his work that he honestly forgot Viper existed. It wasn't until they came into one another's personal space that he glanced her way. It was easy to space out when doing a repetitive, menial task. This was the simple part, anyway. The more difficult part would be running whatever prey the woman chose into the hole. Chi dug down deeper at the end furthest from the river. It would make it easier for their prey to snap a leg if the hole wasn't completely flat at the bottom. If Viper wanted to change that, she very well could. Once satisfied with his bit of work, Chi climbed from the hole and began smoothing out the dirt that they'd excavated. Next would be to cover the dirt with snow so that their prey wouldn't be started by the stark contrast between white snow and dark earth. "Snarl" |
Chimera is a very adult character and takes part in very adult situations. Don't read his threads. Ever.
Chi has three black Tibetan Mastiff's as guards. Assume they're very close by.
