Shuriken took in a deep breath before righting herself proudly, surprised she’d managed to fight her big brother off. The victory put a tiny grin on her face as she absently brushed the extra snow from her chimeric pelt. Her dual toned gaze looked up bashfully to meet Oki’s dark and now serious gaze. She very nearly giggled at the impression of their father, but she kept herself at a polite level. Instead the girl cracked a grin and returned her sibling’s bow.

”You will never best me, brother!” She tried her best to sound like one of the heroes of the stories they heard at night. Not that she really truly believed her words. Oki was so much bigger than she was, she knew it was a fluke she had won this time.
