Never Gonna Give It Up

Siren nearly sighed as Viper slowed to s teady walk the closer she got. Siren tried to look away, to become one with the environment around her so Viper might forget about her, but to no avail. Siren shifted slightly, adjusting the fur to better cover her form in her little place on the edge of the forest where sand met leaf litter. This was a great place to watch the deer in the mornings when they wandered out of the forests to see what washed up on the shore that day. Siren was getting worried about the tiny creatures, the winter hadn’t been easy on their food source. Many had already passed that might not have if the Spring had well and truly arrived.
Viper’s voice was on the air then. The tiny Klein lowered the caramel furred ears to her skull, looking as thought she had been caught. This was her moment to prove her royal roots, to Chimera and to herself. She couldn’t let this social anxiety pull her down, it wasn’t proper for a princess.
”Hello,” she returned softly, her voice forever soft as a summer breeze. Dual toned eyes lifted to the larger she wolf. Siren was at a loss for words, having allowed herself to linger so long in seclusion she forgot how to speak. ”I’m, um, Siren.” She finally continued, even tripping over her own name. Now she was a fool. Again the fallen princess looked away.
