Appearance description: As a newborn Mercury will not show any signs of color at all. He will be a dark ball of brownish black fluff. Around the time he opens his eyes the fur around his eye and muzzle will start to lighten eventually leading to the bronze blaze that rests on his face. The color will linger around his eye but tendrils spiral off towards his jaw, forehead, and nose. The rest of his fur taking on the darkness that his mother's coat displayed. The texture of his coat will differ greatly from the fluff of his puppyhood. His fur is longer than average, giving him a sleek appearance, his undercoat even takes on this elongated form making him look much bigger than he really is.
