The sparkling sands were almost even more pretty when they were dusted in snow. Indigo made it a point to keep some alone time for himself, he refused to become dependant on anyone. Except for maybe Short Round. The badger plodded along beside him, usually rather quiet comparatively speaking. She was good company when Indy sought solitude. He was already half tempted to finish the rest of the trip and make his way back to the Armada. After meeting Briar he was even more homesick. Indigo was making a place for himself in the Hallows, but he felt like more and more that this was not where he belonged.
Indigo wanted to speak to Resin on just that thought as he started collecting strays and other lonely wolves. He couldn’t just keep bringing every orphan he found back to the Hallows, there was something else out there for him. The sad thought that it wasn’t in the Armada crossed his mind more than once as well. The yearling shook the uncertain thoughts from his pelt and continued onward, curious to see if Boreas was still just as cold as Auster.
