Relm squinted at the woman, was she mocking her? Playing games? Maybe she just liked to start trouble? Relm couldn't disagree and usually she would welcome that kind of behavior. But no, this lady was rubbing her the wrong way from some reason. Her tone, her attitude, she couldn't put her finger on it.

"I said it wasn't a beam. A burst, a spray, but not a beam." Her head titled with an obviously fake smile, one she meant to show before it dropped back down to an expression of more annoyance than anything. "Are you going to be deaf to that too?" She didn't really care about offending the woman. She was bigger and older than her, but she would have stood her ground either way. Clearly she was no sissy.
