Briar

Briar's promise to return once the weather warmed up brought another genuine smile to the young wolf's face. While their relationship may have started off on the less than ideal foot, what with them bickering over the importance of their families and a less than friendly spar that he had dominated her in, he was happy to have what he considered a friend in someone other than his own siblings. His childhood hadn't permitted for a lot of free time to just do things like run and chat and hang out while staring at scenic views. Briar liberated him in that way, allowing him to be what he hadn't been able to. For that, the blue wolf was secretly grateful. He wouldn't tell her that, of course; no need to inflate the Fatalis' ego more than it already was.
He nodded his head assent when she told him he should talk to Tamsyn about Resin's peculiar behavior. Deep down, Artorias knew it was the right course of action. Worst case scenario he just ended up looking like he was too concerned over nothing. Best case, he brought a problem to light before it got out of hand. "You're right. If it's something that can be helped, I'd never forgive myself for not saying anything sooner," he said. Once Briar left, whenever that was, he would make it a point to sit down with his mother and talk about what he'd been noticing.
Fixing Briar with warm amber eyes and a crooked smile again, he motioned with his head back down the stairs. "Wanna head back inside? I know you don't like the cold much. We have a lot of food to go around too, if you're hungry." He waited for Briar to fill in the blank of what she wanted to do next. He was her host, and he would happily take her wherever she wanted to go.
