We're PIRATES When We are FREE

The first to arrive was a timid looking blue male. He already smelled of Abaven, and though he didn't look like he was initially looking for a party, but took an interest in the herbs she had gathered. He asked what they were, but before Sparrow had to pay any mind, Pongolo spoke up with a squawk, "Those be drugs- some medicinal some not. The one you've picked up is a good relaxant if you ask me, but what do I know, I'm just a bird, squawk!" Sparrow barely had time to roll her eyes at the bird's bad jokes and accent before a soft presence thudded into her side. As familiar as before, Sparrow found Hanako buried into her fur. Sparrow's thoughts about the drugs were forgotten as she found hers right beside her. She smiled warmly and tried to steady her heart as it ran off at its own speed. As Hanako peeped at her through her eyelashes, Sparrow couldn't help but take the moment to place a soft kiss at the velvet soft fur on the bridge of her maw, where pale fur turned to pink skin. "It's good to see you too, princess," she hummed before pulling back to get another view of the cute woman, trying to weigh the pros and cons of skipping out on the party to spend the night with her. Sparrow was brought back at Pyralis' arrival. Ah, fine, pirate party it was. She offered the older woman a toothy smile at her offerings and the promise that they were obtained in true pirate manner. She called out, asking who the other two might be. Sparrow tossed a look at the Abaven man and shrugged simply before her eyes fell back to Hanako, waiting for the woman to give her own introduction. Recluse showed up not too soon after and Sparrow tossed her a hearty smile at her words. "If it's not an interesting night, then I found the wrong recruits!" Sparrow laughed lightly and then perked at the promise of the volcano, "Oh yes. If I bring wine is it a date?" While Sparrow had Hanako at her side and was happy to keep it that way, they had no established relationship as of yet. She didn't expect Hanako to go moping around all alone when her pirate king wasn't there to hold her. Maybe one day, Sparrow didn't know for sure, but for now she had all the love to go around. Recluse introduced herself and Sparrow gave Hanako a little nudge, bending to whisper loud enough so that Recluse could hear anyway, "They say she's a spirit who gathered last year's shed to become a real wolf." Sparrow had every intention of running the spirit joke into the ground when she could. A man sauntered in and found himself a drink. It was good that he didn't exactly come to greet Sparrow, she was already getting flanked on all sides. Jynn, however, was a welcome addition. Her eyes followed the leggy woman as she strode around to get herself a drink and settled by the fire. Another glance between Hanako and Recluse and... yeah... maybe Sparrow was interested in a few too many women... but what was a few more? "Jynn! Glad you could make it!" Was all Sparrow could muster before Tyrian came up and greeted Sparrow and Hanako, asking if Hanako was back for more apples. Sparrow scoffed, whatever Tyrian's history with Hanako was their own, but Sparrow couldn't help but throw on a sharp smile and a soft nibble between Hanako's ears, "Nah, your apples aren't as sweet as me." A woman followed behind Tyrian who also seemed to know Hanako. This woman- introduced at Keetie- was a stunner too and Sparrow wasn't sure her heart could take much more. In her wildest fantasy she'd scoop them all up to live happily ever after with her, but that was gay and also a little outlandish. Besides, the blue woman was all flirting with Tyr and Sparrow gave him A Look that asked if they were an item. Her colors fit in well with the family, though it might be good to make sure she wasn't a stray Imperialis from a lost litter somewhere. Ah- speaking of blue possible litter doners- Jupiter came up. He brought his own goods and Sparrow shot him an appreciative look. Pongolo flew down and around to take stock of what he brought before nodding like she'd done some good deed. Arrogant little shit. Even Valentine came to the party, but Sparrow was a little swamped to be going over and greeting him. She did, however, give Pyralis a look and pointed that look in the direction of Valentine. They were both spitfirery old people, maybe they'd get along. Sparrow hadn't expected Lynvarr to come. She invited him because he was interesting and a good fight, but especially since his pack wasn't invited, she didn't think he'd show. As he came towards her, Sparrow gave a short bark and called out to him. He came and clarified some of what she'd asked him about Ashen. Sparrow nodded as if she was really thinking on it- she wasn't. She only wanted to know bad things about other packs! Not good things! Okay, maybe not... She tucked the knowledge away in the spot of her brain reserved for thinking and decided it could stay there if it behaved. Lynvarr went on to ask about a rematch and asked about friendly blood letting. Sparrow visibly bulked up at his challenge. "You name the time and place, Lyn! I'll meet you in ten! How many times will I have to beat your ass before you decide to become a pirate, though?" She meant it in a teasing way, but she was half serious. They were still missing quite a few of the actual pirates and Sparrow was keen to notice when Hyacinth made his appearance. When he bumped into Keetie, a lightbulb went off in Sparrow's head. Ahhhhh. Okay, that made more sense. "Where's the rest of the fam? I'm pretty sure half of them are pirates now, and yet only you two are at my party!" At some point in the party, Hanako, Pyralis, Recluse, Kai, Jynn, and Sparrow sat around an emptied bottle. Sparrow took the time to explain the rules- you spin the bottle and whoever it lands on, you kiss, repeat till everyone has spun or been picked. You could take it as far as you both wanted, or not. The group then went on through the night with the spins being paired off: Hanako spins Pyralis Recluse spins Jynn Kai spins Sparrow

Tyr and Jupiter were the only ones who wanted to play dice so I nixed that for now.
