They all raised valid points and Hattori nodded. He did not think mere trip wires would work on such a beast, they'd sooner snap the lines than take a hard fall. They had plenty of bamboo back home, snapped and sharpened to a point, surely they'd be able to quickly put together some sort of trap-something that would wound or cause the beast to take a tumble. That's all they needed, an opening or opportunity. He cast his gaze skyward and his eagle was quick to land by his side, he spoke quickly and quietly in his foreign tongue, commanding for a message to be passed on. The hunting party would have to wait some time till the supplies arrived but soon enough a bunch of akita on paw arrived on the scene with the cart loaded sharpened bamboo stalks all tied together with rope.

"These should suffice." Hattori said, raising a paw to test the sharpness. If the beast ran into them at a great enough speed it would easily become impaled, unable to escape. It might not be enough to kill it outright but it would do enough damage to make the kill possible. All they needed was to organise the cluster in a blind spot and aim them just at the right angle.Then the party could drive the creature towards the trap and work from there. "Lament, Plague and Hela, take the cart and circle around the herd. I trust your judgement. Find a blind spot and get the trap in position and return to us."
