So You Want To Fight?

Kuroki liked fighting just as much as the next person but sometimes he found himself wondering what it was all for. Puppy scraps and squabbles were one thing but what in the world was valuable enough to warrant killing someone over? He'd asked Hattori about it once, knew his Father had killed but didn't really get why, why couldn't people just get along or talk it out or whatever? It made no sense to him, no matter how hard he tried. But alas his work was never done and Hattori soon brought the little prince to the battlefield, wanting him to test out his skills on strangers who's movements would be much harder to read. Kuroki was game, mostly.

It was a little hard to spot her since she was like the whitest wolf he'd ever seen, but the pink of her eyes and nose caught Kuroki's attention as he bounded over. Chest all puffed up and shoulders set and square as he dipped down into a mock bow. Better be nice and polite since his Dad was watching.

"You ready?" He asked, in his only attempt to make sure they were on the same page. After all, why else would she be here?

And then he was on the move, charging ahead with all the grace of a young pup struggling his way through snow. There was no point in stopping when he got close so instead he planned on using his momentum and giving her a good prod with his growing nubby horns.
