THESE SCARS ARE ANOTHER LESSON LEARNED

Metallic gaze never once strayed from the vivid and pristine coat that her genetics had allotted her daughter as she crept behind the child?s rump at the mercy of her lead, her poise enunciating her prestigious status within the boundaries of her realm despite the fact that she was accompanied only by a mere child who could not witness her stance while she was positioned ahead. But the ice queen had strategically placed the tyke at the front of the charge so that she may observe the mannerisms by which her daughter carried herself, wanting to tweak her submissive posture into elegant poise befitting for the omnipotent queen that Morphine pretentiously presumed she would become once she reached the proper age and her training was completed. Thus far into their journeying, the ice queen was impressed with the pride that evidently fluctuated within her daughter, an amused smirk warping her visage in the most devious of manners as she fervently observed the child, searching for the one fault in her stance that would shatter her overall grace, prepared to pounce upon it. As the motion of Artemis? ears careening backwards to press against her crown was carried out for an unknown purpose, the witch bounded over the petite figure of the child, landing just in front of her so that her own body intercepted the current path of her daughter, the smirk now completely vanished from her countenance and replaced by a grimace. ?No,? she snapped bitterly, allowing her skull to shake side to side as if to confirm the word spoken. ?Like this,? she informed, extending a forelimb towards her daughter?s crown to have her digits force the tyke?s ears forward once more. A prolonged sigh cascaded from her unhinged jaws as her elevated forepaw descended back to its original perch, her pupils gleaming with a hint of disappointment as she searched the girl?s amethyst and mercury gaze. ?If you are to become a queen one day, you must carry yourself like one ? not like a timid fool. Understand?? Her tone was harsh for a child?s sensitive ears, but by now, her daughter would have had to have grown accustomed to it.
