The only one that stayed." Raising one paw, Aslatiel kneaded the area between her brows, the frustration clear on her features. "What am I even doing any of this for if they aren't here?" Lips peeled back from pristine white teeth and she wrinkled her nose. "And then Mort and Az get to come back and be the heirs? What have they even done? I'm here fighting for the pack and they're off being selfish." It was obvious that she'd held these thoughts in for a while.
