Duchess found herself smiling to Indigo's promise, and she would believe him. Surely the ice age would be over at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later. She moved over to him where he had taken a seat, pushing her shoulder and cheek into his large frame while she settled down too beside him. "Everything will be okay with you here." She assured him as she looked out at the ocean in the short distance. They may have come out for scouting to come back empty handed, but with Indigo she felt like it was worth the time and trouble to be out here. She preferred being outside of the pack anyway, she typically didn't do well in big crowds. It may have shown, but she wasn't outward about her unsocial interaction. She would have done anything for Indigo, or to be with him. Even if that meant trying hard to fit in while she had grown up with only herself and one other. |
