Having had no expectations for the male's behavior, she was surprised (though whether it was pleasantly or grossly was something she couldn't quite determine) when he sought to close a portion of their proximity, paws sliding over the stone as he drew his alabaster form a little closer to her own fire. Audits twitched and her own rumble of a chuckle rolled from her larynx, dial shifting backwards a tad to bring her gaze a bit more distanced from him, examining him with a mix of caution and what was now identifiable as amusement. Path of sight swept to the brute's own exotic gaze and the smallest of smiles touched the corner of her inky lips, so faint that it was nearly unimaginable. "And I, greeted by an alabaster moon," she remarked in interested counter, timbre smooth as she allowed her wit to sweep the words easily from her maw. Nares flared as she took in his scent--crisp and masculine--with interest. He smelled of no pack she knew of but identified his aroma to belong to the northern portions of Alacritia. "What drives this pallid knight of what seems to be the north so near to a sunrise? It'd be a shame for you to melt." The most passive of foreboding warnings now delivered, she retreated a step or so, tail swaying at the slightest. He reminded her most certainly of Marvel, the sire of her children, but despite the generalized resemblance, she had no intention of falling prey to either her fertility or another's virility once more.
