Duchess watched the flowers fall from Indigo's grasp and she still wouldn't realize the gentle tears until he moved forward to wash them away. Still, she wouldn't feel embarrassed or even care to admit the exact feelings behind them. Maybe it was because of the intense high, she found herself in a dangerous low and the feeling of missing Indigo was overwhelming. Her own insecurities becoming more clear to her after she had put them behind her in the moments leading up to now. She didn't want to voice them. She had already told Indigo she would follow him where ever he went, her devotion to him was an open book or at least she thought she had made that clear. She still did push gently into his touch as he wanted to rid her of the aftermath, but there was still something off about her demeanor. She looked back down at the flowers he had dropped, eventually lowering her head to grab what he had forgotten about, "Let's go back to the castle." She insisted, still not really looking like herself. But she almost felt like she just had to walk it off, and hopefully by the time they made it back home she would be better. |
