It was kind of interesting to him to think that he would be training a young pup in the art of combat, and especially a she-pup. There was always a first time for everything. As he waited to see what Seraphine's answer would be, he quietly hoped that he would be able to teach her well. No one had taught him to fight. He had kind of just figured it out on his own after he left his homelands; learning by experience. He had the scars to prove that he'd lost his fair share, but it had been those losses that had helped him shape himself into a better warrior. He now only hoped that his experiences would suffice in teaching this little one. He couldn't bare the thought of something happening to her because he had failed to teach her correctly.
Of course I can. But you better be ready to be on your toes. Speed is often times the deciding factor when using a dodge. He smiled at her, pale limbs unscrambling from beneath him as he hoisted himself, shaking the dirt from his pelt in preparation. This was going to be a long day. He could feel it already.
