A Mammoth Task [THE HUNT]

It was time for the hunt. Corvus had been appointed to a specific task - he and Allegro were to head down to the bottom of the cliffs and wait for their prey to be sent over the edge. While everyone had an important job he viewed his as particularly dangerous. Though he wasn't the thrill-seeking type, he was almost eager to get his blood pumping as he and Allegro dove in for their kill. Maybe it was the distraction he craved. Either way, he was ready. He and Allegro couldn't see much from this position but all he could do, once they reached the spot they planned to wait, was to imagine what was occurring above. He had to hope that despite the dangers present that everyone was being smart and thinking on their feet. Suddenly after some waiting he swore he felt the earth tremor beneath his paws. "Shit," he mumbled, somewhat incredulously, casting his gaze from Allegro to the cliffs that towered high above them. "Did you feel that?"
