A Mammoth Task [THE HUNT]

Allegro worked his way down the cliff with Corvus, peering up at the edge above them eagerly. He did have to admit that he was mildly disappointed that he wouldn't get to participate in herding the beasts forward, but getting in on the kill itself was equally as exciting. He didn't know if a beast that size was going to survive this kind of fall in the first place, but if it did he and Corvus would be here to ensure that it didn't live much longer. His ears twitched when he heard Brandr's howl announcing the hunt and soon after there was a steadily building, distant rumble of huge feet beating the ground. Clearly they had started getting the herd moving so perhaps the fire had been effective after all. He nodded to Corvus when his fellow hunter mentioned the tremor in the ground under their paws. "Yeah... We should probably find a spot where we'll be close enough to jump in once it falls but not risk being in the landing zone." The last thing they needed was to get crushed by the damn thing on its way down.
