When Can I See You Again
Indigo

Suddenly he was there, his giant amaranthine form wrapped around hers. Indigo buried his face in her fur and she did the same. "Indy," she said breathily, her eyes closed. The small woman soaked him in like a sponge, basking in his presence. Despite her current state, it was like they'd never parted. Asla wrapped her arms about her brother's neck and held him close. Ah, she loved him so. "I'm sorry to have you come all this way, I just..." She hesitated for a moment, ears tipping back. "I wanted to tell you face to face rather than have you hear it from someone else." She squeezed him a little tighter. "The plan was a success. You're going to be an uncle." Asla didn't sound terribly thrilled about it. She would much rather be filled with Indigo's children. Really... she could be filled with them right now, but some sixth sense within her told her that this wasn't the case. Still, she wouldn't know for certain until she gave birth. "Why do I feel like I should apologize?" The woman gave a soft, sad laugh and buried her face more deeply against Indigo's chest. "I wish they were ours," she whispered, and suddenly her swirling eyes filled with tears. She wished that they could be theirs, that they could create pups together without the risk of deformities. Without the risk of repercussions. Her emotions were all over the place. She'd been terribly grumpy until Indigo wrapped himself around her. Now she was back to being a sad sap. Pregnancy... didn't agree with her, it seemed. "Asla" -- "Indy"
