How's It Feel Sitting Up There

Leaving Aslatiel was always the most difficult part of the journey. Letting her go was the most difficult task he put himself through. They both knew they couldn’t remain together for very long, and far before he wanted to they parted ways. She needed to return to her duties and he to his responsibilities in the Hallows. He didn’t like leaving them alone for very long, he’d vowed to protect both Gypsy and Duchess and he couldn’t if he was miles and miles away. However much he wanted to stay in his sister’s arms.
Indigo was swift to make his return, holding up much better than when he returned from the last time he’d left the Armada. Indigo didn’t waste any time in making his way to the castle. He’d already spent too much time alone and far too much time away from the wolves that he cared for. Indy’s massive frame rounded the corridor to find Duchess near the food stores. Immediately his features brightened.
”Duchess,” his voice was relieved mostly, but he easily latched on to the joy he felt in her presence. He padded closer, eager to close the distance between them.
