When you pry it from my cold, dead chest Viper's jaws clapped as Dalila moved out of the way, but she quickly regained her alignment with the woman, only to be pushed in response. And it didn't make her wonder, but she almost expected Dalila to fight back with the same kind of aggression that she had, as if they had to fight over Chimera. That wasn't the case on Dalila's end of course, but Viper was probably too naive to see it even if it had been explained to her. As Dalila pushed into her shoulder, Viper pushed her own shoulder into the one offered to her, attempting to slide her spiked armor into a downward curved motion in the center of Dalila's shoulder, while moving her jaws forward to bite down toward her back left hock and hoping she could get a good enough grip to pull and push the larger woman's weight off balance and topple her.
