Location: Cattail Creek
Segin seemed nearly as interested as Duchess did in the terrains and what the land had to offer them. But other than that, she wanted to spend time with him and get to know him better, just as she had and wanted with Gypsy. She was just as accepting with Indigo wanting this family for himself, anything to make him happy she would do. And the next step for her after he brought them home was to make them comfortable, especially in her presence. She wanted to help them as much as Indigo did.
The sun after the everlasting Ice Age felt nice on her dark pelt, and when they arrived at the creek, the shade of the sycamore trees was relieving. She moved to the steady flow of water, replenished with the melting snow and coming rains the season brought them. She looked backwards to Segin before dipping her head down to take a drink, the water a little more swampy than fresh but she didn't mind.
