in my wildest dreams

Hearing Indigo promise that he would be more careful gave him more comfort and peace, smiling and nuzzling encouragingly into the larger man's neck. He knew that Indigo hadn't meant to worry any of them and he had only been acting to protect someone else as was his path in life. He was a protector and a nurturer. Segin couldn't fault him for doing what he was meant to do. That also didn't mean that Segin wouldn't worry about him each and every time he ended up in a fight. It was unfortunately an inevitable part of him being the one to protect the rest of the group and it made Segin a bit guilty that he didn't have the strength or abilities to take some of that pressure off of him. All he could do was be his emotional support and do his very best to become a skilled healer to help their band as he could.
He couldn't get over how much he liked being tucked into Indigo's larger frame. From their very first meeting it had given him so much comfort, but also sent his heart racing and made a familiar warmth spread through him. Indigo hadn't shied away from any of his affections, but he still hadn't quite determined if they affected his friend the same way as they did him - at least it was a mystery until he licked the back of Indigo's ear and felt him shiver under him. Segin's ears perked at the rumbling sound that Indigo made in response and he felt his face flush as a little grin pulled at his lips. Maybe his desires weren't entirely one sided after all. He obviously wouldn't act on anything like that right now while Indigo was still healing, but it gave him a little interest and curiosity for what the future could bring.
He couldn't quite resist giving Indigo at least a little more affection. He was too grateful to have Indigo with him still and too enchanted by the time that they got to spend alone. A content smile lingered on his lips as he gave his ear another sweet lick. His dark paw lifted to gently scritch through some of the thinner fur around Indigo's ears and cheek, leaning his head into the larger man's neck as he took in just how small his paw seemed in comparison to Indigo's features. He was certainly the largest wolf he had ever seen - even a bit larger than his father. It was hard to not let his mind wander and it made a curiosity in him that was nearly insatiable. "Indigo... Would you ever consider... being with a man?" he asked quietly, finally deciding once and for all that he needed to just know if that was even something he could be considering or if he was just letting his desires get the best of him.
