Duchess just smiled as Segin explained the many things that the cattail could do. She didn't really know he was a healer type until now. She had more interest of when he spoke about the pond where he grew up, though she still retained some of the information about the cattails. She did after want to learn some things about healing, maybe from someone other than Indigo to impress him. Segin seemed well enough for the task.
She looked around as he mentioned the numerous herbs around, it seemed Segin made her notice the beauty around just as Indigo did. She tried not to overlook those things because she really did admire what the land had to offer. But it was hard to focus with her thoughts always moving a mile a minute. "Maybe you should bring Indigo when he's feeling better, he would enjoy it." She assumed that the herbs grew here because of the waterway, it seemed like a good place for the plants to thrive. And all of the wildlife here seemed pretty peaceful. It was nice.
Segin had asked about how long she had lived with Indigo, and she almost wanted to blush to the thought that their affections may have not gone unnoticed. It had only been them for a while, and even with Gypsy they were still able to get a lot of alone time. "It's only been about a season." She started to walk on forward, moving through the creek and possibly to their next destination. But she still looked to Segin with a welcoming grin, enjoying his company even if she couldn't quite match up with his personality.
