Fighting had always been at the top of her list of interests. Of course she enjoyed hunting, and really anything where she could prove her physical prowess, but something about fighting another wolf excited her more than anything. Learning of the tournament, she had immediately known she wanted not only to participate, but to win. Anything less than that would be shameful, even with her lacking experience. She was prideful enough that she detested the idea of not being on top.
Luckily for her, her first sparring partner seemed less than prepared for her, and perhaps a little unsure of what to do with himself. This would be easy. A smile slipped across her face as she set her defenses. A widened stance, shoulders squared to brace for impact. Her ears flattened, hackles rising, her head lowering to protect her neck. "Come on, you’ve got the first move." She was pretty sure that was how this was supposed to go, and with this being her first tournament she wasn’t about to embarrass herself by screwing up.
