When Can I See You Again

Once more Indigo handled her as though she was light as a feather. Once they both could breathe, he molded her body against his and she went willingly. Asla pressed her face into his chest, inhaling the scent of him, hoping to trap it within her so that she would never be without him. She wanted to absorb his scent into her fur. Who knew when they would be able to meet again? Indigo spoke of forming his band and settling closer to Armada lands. Aslatiel grinned as he kissed her. Naughty boy. Not that she would ever think of complaining. The closer that he was, the happier she would always be. Indigo was the ultimate key to her happiness. When he was gone, she was... less. Less alive. Less joyful. Less Aslatiel. He made her what she was and she loved him for it. Indigo answered her question plainly but didn't provide the details that she wanted. He and his band of hunters and navigators would travel the world looking for rare herbs. Asla gave him a squeeze, burying her face in his chest once more. "Don't love them more than me," she whispered softly. Asla knew that he would always love her, but she also know that Indigo had the biggest heart of anyone that she knew. He had more love to give than she did and he would have a hard time resisting. Pulling away a bit, Asla slid a small piece of skin from beside the place where they rested. It was obvious that there was something inside. She placed it before her brother and rested her cheek against him once more as she waited for him to open the gift. Within would be a silver clasp that he could clip into his mane. Connected to that clasp was a bright teal feather, perfectly matching the color of her striping. "To always remember me by," she purred, her eyes closing as she once again slid her cheek across him, spreading her scent on him and taking his own onto herself. "Asla" -- "Indy"
