Segin grinned and nodded in agreement when Duchess mentioned bringing Indigo out here once he was better. He was looking forward to Indigo being healed for a lot of reasons, but mostly he was just looking forward to getting to spend more time with the man that had brought them all together and getting to learn more from him. It was obvious that Indigo was special to them all in some way or another, but after he took so much time and care with pulling him back from the brink and breathing life back into him Segin just wanted to prove to Indigo how appreciative he was of him. Him getting hurt so soon after he arrived was unfortunate, but wounds would heal.

He was actually surprised to hear that they had only been together for a season, but he got the sense that Indigo at least formed bonds pretty quickly so maybe it wasn't all that surprising. "Well... I'm really happy to be here with you all," he told her shyly, giving her another grin before he glanced away to look at the path ahead of them as they began to move on to their next destination. He knew that if he hadn't found Indigo when he had he would probably be dead by now and if not then certainly continuing to spiral and break himself even further. He had landed in good paws and for that he would forever be grateful.
