A Mammoth Task [THE HUNT]

Onward they hollered and harried the massive beast with fang and fire. Twig dove in and out on the shoulder opposite Brandr so the giant beast could see her fire. Partially blinded by the light and mostly blinded by fear it barreled onwards towards its doom. Twig continued beside it, her dainty paws carrying her through and on top of the snow as fast as she could. The only reason she could keep up was the snow the mammoth had to fight through. She realized as Brandr called out that now was the time to fall back anyway. She continued to wave her fire and run, but didn’t try and catch back up, only steer their prey where they wanted it to go. She said a silent prayer for Corvus down below as she watched the inevitable unfold.
