Naiche vs Recluse (tournament)

The moment Recluse started to flail her paw Naiche let go with no desire to play a game of tug. Holding onto her for too long was making himself a target, remaining in motion was a far better tactic. The leg took another swing and did swipe across the neck but not hard enough to appear to matter other than to make him take a cautious fast step away. Naiche turned back to face Recluse and made for his main move now, lunging in to put himself near Recluse so it would be near shoulder to shoulder as he lunged in to aim a bite in the direction of her throat though his hope was she would turn her head to defend. If she did turn her head to try and defend the neck Naiche would bite for the muzzle and squeeze in, if she didn’t his target would be her neck. Either way, he planned to clamp down hard. It was a tournament, he wouldn’t be respectful to the enemy if he went gentle. Besides, he really preferred bloody battles with real risk for real victory. Especially when Naiche was feeling irritable.
