Onyx explained she hadn't been alone but wit Pyrite and one of the red kids. He knew who she meant; he let out a little chuckle. He liked them, at least the one he'd gotten to spend time with so far. He was hardly the most social wolf around though and tended to keep to himself and his family, so he wasn't sure if he'd red along with the rest of the kids in the pack or not - he supposed he'd find out eventually. But for now he was more interesting in sparring with Onyx though than anything else. How else were they supposed to get stronger? He made a note to do some sparring with Pyrite soon too. He hated the thought of his twin ever needing to get in a fight but he knew she needed to be prepared, just in case.. not that he was an expert but practice was always a good thing.

He watched with wide blue eyes as she sprung forward toward him, head low and butt high. The position looked a little silly and he started to laugh at the sight, but he was instantly distracted from that when she latched onto his leg. He didn't have time to duck, and he wasn't really afraid of her seriously hurting him anyway. While his instinct was to try to pull away he tried to think how he might actually react if she was an enemy. Without thinking too long, deciding he needed to grab on to something too to try to get control of the situation, he parted his jaws and twisted his head around to try to bite at her back, hoping to grab hold of her scruff if nothing else and push her down.
