Tiberius Nero Superior ability breeds superior ambition Good weather. That was all that sat on the man's mind as he trekked out, in a strangely less sour mood for once. The wind brushing at his fur wasn't freezing, and his paws were sinking in grass. Granted, the grass was oddly short and still quite new, but it was so much better than the frozen snow he had found when first coming here. Even Magni was in a good mood, having taken to the sky to float on the warm air. Occasionally his caws of joy would reach Tiberius' ears and the brute would smile, peering his peridot eye up to catch a glimpse of the oil-slicked bird nearly twirling. He paused his steps to shake himself out, as if he was shedding the past season off his back. Snout lifted and he closed his eyes, took in a deep breath... And groaned. He was not alone, naturally. Well, he was much too stubborn to change his direction, so he continued on. The figure of the gray and white woman came into view and his brow furrowed. His first encounter with her still tainted his impression of her; he objectively knew she was doing what was right for the pack, but he would never admit that out loud. Instead, he approached with the most neutral expression he could muster, tail already flicking behind him. "Stores bare?" |
