The feel of the wind after leaving the Cathedral was bristling, and she was having regrets of leaving the peaceful trees too. She wasn’t that eager about the grapes as Segin was, but she wished more that Indigo was here to taste them with her. She wasn’t mad that Segin was here with her, but she was missing Indigo while on this trip.
The air here was also peaceful, or no, it was eerie. It was much different than where they had just come from. Duchess almost considered the dungeon in the back of her mind but she shook it. She would though, step in closer to Segin as they continued forward, her shoulder wanting to reach his body as a subtle fear rushed over her. Her expression didn’t hide the worry and the unknown. Her eyes were ahead on the horizon, almost not wanting to know what was beyond it.
