All this over some berries

Back and forth the pair of women went. With each bite, the bear spun, focusing on them. With each spin, they moved the ursine farther and farther away from the berry patch. Eska dove in, snapping her teeth into the opposite heel. She pulled backward and the bear tripped up, falling onto its stomach for a moment. It flailed on the ground for a moment and Eska bit it again before dodging a swinging blow. The woman skittered backwards as the bear rose. The beast threw itself into a run and Eska had no choice but to turn tail and run from it.
