“Ashen, not ashes” she corrected him patiently. “The Ashen Empire, that's the pack my mum and dad rule” Who didn’t know about Ashen? They were so central to her life, the idea that someone didn’t even know it existed seemed foreign to her. She knew from her studies that Ashen branched off into the Armada and Habari, making it the largest collection of packs in Boreas. How could he not know that?
