Avantika vs Gossamer (Tournament)

Gossamer savored her victory for only a few moments before turning her attention to her injuries. One win, but it seemed small in the string of battles she'd been fighting lately. She wondered if even winning the tournament would wash away the sense of failure that clung to her after her journey to the north. Soon she was called for her next match and she faced off against her opponent, a girl of similar build though slightly shorter. She dipped her head in greeting then swiftly set her defenses, making sure to pin her ears and tuck her tail. She didn't want to make it too easy for her opponent to get a hold of her. She nodded once more. She was ready.
