A Mammoth Task [THE HUNT]

With a light giggle, Psalm matched her brother's yell with one of her own, fighting down the flash of a fear instinct as the torch caught on the creature's pelt, her eyes growing wild but the rush of the hunt was upon her now, paws flying over the ground and her mind focusing in on the beast they'd started driving away from the herd. Her voice lifted of its own accord and her calls became more primal, less controlled. It was only as the mass of other young wolves around her started to slow that Psalm would return to a sense of control, her limbs aching from the pounding of her run and protesting as she started to dig in her heels, slowing, but not stopping. It wasn't over until they drove the creature over the cliff and she though she wouldn't be reckless Psalm wouldn't stop until the job was done.
