A Mammoth Task [THE HUNT]

Even without Brandr's warning howl, he could hear the loud thudding of the mammoth's feet hitting the ground as it moved getting closer and closer to the cliff where he and Corvus were waiting at the bottom. He moved off to the side from where it sounded like they were heading and moved closer to the cliff so that if anything the mammoth wound hopefully fall past them instead of on top of them. "Any second now..." he warned, after Brandr's howl, his head tipped up and focused on the edge of the cliff while they waited for the animal to drop. It sounded like they were making good progress so at least he knew their plan of how to chase the thing toward the cliff had been an effective one.
