Avantika vs Gossamer (Tournament)

Gossamer's head collided with her opponents sternum and while she was pleased her attack succeeded she could feel a bruise was going to form from the strike. She had managed to push her opponent back but had failed to fully topple the other girl. At least she had pushed the other wolf far enough back that her opponent hadn't fallen right on top of her. Gossamer shifted to her left, her head darting down just as Avantika tried to seize her muzzle. Gossamer's movement prevented the other from getting a hold on her muzzle but the others teeth still tore light lacerations across the top of her muzzle. Gossamer attempted to bite onto Avantika's left wrist, seeking to catch it with her regular teeth and not her sabers which could bite right through the leg.
