Don't Say Thank You Or Please She had to admit if only to herself that she did admire his response. She was a bit of a sore loser herself, but he said he'd still have fun if she beat him. He seemed a little cooler than her brother, though Bronze was pretty fun to fight at least. Onyx wasn't used to fighting others with mutations. But she hadn't looked at him in awe when she first laid eyes on him. He was just another opponent that she could beat down, horns, teeth, or whatever else he had to throw at her. She wasn't scared of it. So when he came head on with his horns, she did hesitate a moment, not sure how she could entirely evade him or if she should just brace. She took too long to think so he easily wailed into her with his head, knocking the wind out of her but she was able to push through. She was at least tougher mentally than most pups her age, maybe his sisters were too. She had little options to counter with what was exposed to her, but her idea had actually been that she wished she could grab hold of his horn for bashing her. They were too small to grab hold of right now, so an ear would suffice. She attempted to back her body up just slightly, to get an easier aim at least. And then she moved with an aimed bite onto his front left ear with a pull if she was able to grasp it.
