When We Really Play
Acantha

In her efforts to continue to scouting out the lands around those owned by the Armada, Acantha made her way through the near by forest that seemed to be choked by vines, moss, and fog. It was strangely silent as she paced through the trees and stepped over roots and puddles, glancing up at the thick canopy above her. Even though it was a pretty clear summer day, very little if any light seemed to get through which probably explained the lack of grass or much underbrush around the forest floor. Over all it seemed pretty uneventful though - at least until she caught a distant, feline yowl ahead of her. Her ears perked and she nearly ignored it, but as she thought about all the predator attacks she had endured while traveling through Auster she wondered and worried if there was someone being attacked this time too.
She picked up the pace and ran through the trees toward the sound, finding the young woman and the saber cat she was fighting faster than she expected. The odd muffling effect of the forest made them sound farther away than the actually were. The other wolf had gotten a good hit in on the sabertooth cat it seemed, the feline bleeding pretty noticeably from its shoulder. She happened to be behind the feline from how she approached them so she took the chance, running forward to bite deep into the back of the feline's thigh while it was staggering back from the brightly colored woman, making it yowl again in pain and surprise.
