Plague fidgeted and shifted with eager anticipation as he stood beside Void, his heart beating hard in his chest. After the festival got into full swing and they had their meals, he slipped away with Void long enough to put on their outfits that he had carefully crafted for this occasion, a smile that hurt his cheeks pulling across his features when he saw his handsome man in this garment that he had spent so much time on. Her knew that they didn't need formal attire or a big ceremony or any kind of pomp and circumstance to make their marriage official and perhaps Void would have been more comfortable with something much smaller, but... He wanted the very best for his man. He wanted to scream from the top of the mountain how much he loved this man. He was tired of living in shadows, of being afraid of what others would think. From now on he would wear his new name with pride and walk side by side with Void through every step on his life.

"You look so handsome," he whispered into Void's ear after he finished adjusting the leather vest with the draping blue fabric swooping around his frame, straitening the clasp on his chest and the silver sigil resting on Void's shoulder. He grinned and brushed his muzzle against Void's in this brief moment before they would go up to stand in front of his sister, his emerald eyes catching the blue and lavender of his soon to be husband's. "I can't wait to take you home. I love you." With that he moved back to Void's side and walked with him up to the front of the crowd, looking around at the decorations he had collected and put together for the ceremony. Candles, drapes of fabric through the branches of the trees, bundles of flowers tucked around where Venom sat. She looked incredibly regal in her headdress, a look fitting of an Empress. He gave her a grin as he leaned into Void's side, more excited than he could possibly ever express and so thankful that she was doing this for them.

She began to address the crowd and once she gestured for them to come forward, he walked with Void to stand in front of her, turning his gaze that was so full of love and adoration toward Void. This was it. No more waiting. No more hiding. Somehow, even though all of their guests and family were gathered around behind them, it felt like they were in their own little world right now and it felt absolutely perfect. He'd finally get to have his husband and Void would finally have all of him. After so much waiting and patience their time was here.
