If At First You Don't Succeed, Try Again!

Nirvana drew in a breath as the other girl greeted her. Lukina. She was truly excited, words spilling from her mouth like water from a fall. She had so much energy! The other pup was quick to shift into a fighting position, seeming to not want to waste even a moment before getting down to business. That was fine by her - she had come to answer the call of a fighter after all.

As the other girl swiftly set her defenses Nirvana did the very same. Soft pink tinted ears rolled back to lay flat against her skull. She kept her reddish-pink eyes narrowed and spread her legs out in an even distribution of her weight. Finally she fluffed out her fur as her hackles raised and she gave a little puppy growl.

Though Lukina came at her head on Nirvana didn't falter or try to dodge the other. Instead she braced herself and even tucked her head downward, waiting for the other child to get closer.

It was only once Lukina had closed the gap between them, her paw raised with the intent of crashing down on her, that Nirvana made any attempt to move. Nirv brought her weight to her back legs and then kicked forward off the ground in an attempt to slam into the other albino's child chest. Nirvana felt claws as she moved, slicing deep across her left cheek, and squeezed her eyes shut at the sharp sting of pain. Whatever happened, she couldn't stop her intended slam now.
