She easily grabbed Chimera’s attention as she approached, his single eye focused on her. Almost fixated, as her pretty paws carried her towards him. He was her provider and her protector, she looked up to him not only because of their familial bonds. Which didn’t mean much anyway. What was important was they were always there for one another. Chimera gave her the island home she wanted to dearly and she held up her end of the bargain by remaining here and remaining safe. Siren would be a fool to not know her own beauty but it was the realization of male desire that changed her outlook on life. Before Chimera was with Dalila, Siren had been much more naive, but as she made herself pay more attention she was coming to realize the realities of the world.
After he looked her over the corners of Chimera’s lips turned into a smile, an expression that she didn’t often see. At the sight Siren’s features brightened subtly, her ivory teeth flashed and her dual toned eyes sparkled. The massive chimeric man assured her that he always had time for her and she didn’t hesitate further. The tiny she wolf sidled up beside him after wiggling out of the pack. She leaned against his shoulder while her dainty paws worked and revealed the little wrapped meats she brought along. Siren had a lot of time on her paws and she’d found herself making special little lunches.
She arranged the little bits of their meal before her sculpted features looked back up to his chiseled form. They didn’t get a lot of time alone together, so this was kind of special time. Siren wasn’t afraid of Chimera, she was afraid of upsetting him and of being a disappointment. Being unable to live up to his expectations. So far she felt like she fell far short of the perfect princess he saw her as. Siren offered Chimera an arrangement of white flesh, the first course was shrimp she found in the tidepools. ”You look like you’ve worked hard today.” She observed softly as she waited for him to try the little morsel. ”Thank you.” She followed up, knowing how much he did for her.
