After that fight she had gotten into here with that white striped woman she had gone back home, packed up some supplies for herself and Marigold, and then come right back. She set up camp in the Veteran's Plateau nearby and got it in her mind that she wasn't going to leave until she either got good enough to win at least some of the fights she threw herself into or she tore herself apart trying. Marigold had stopped trying to convince her at this point and instead just focused her attention on trying to keep the self destructive girl from getting herself hurt.

Somewhere along the way they caught the attention of a falcon who took interest in her for whatever reason, but once she got to know the raptor a bit she was just as much her companion as Marigold was. It was actually weirdly perfect timing since on her last trip home she realized that Dandelion had gotten out of his enclosure and she couldn't find the little dik-dik anywhere. With that new gap in her life, Willow swooped in just in time - almost literally.

She brought Marigold and Willow with her to the Battlefield today, her armor in place and a determined look in her eye. This would be the first of many fights and she wasn't going to back down. She lifted her head to call for an opponent, leaving it open to anyone that might be around who was similarly interested in a spar.
