She moved along the coast, never straying too far from the ocean as she explored this new place. She still couldn’t remember how she had ended up here, but so far she couldn’t say she was disappointed with what she had seen so far. If this was to be her new home she would need to get to know the locals and find a new place to settle. After having been on her own for some time, it wasn’t exactly crucial that she find a pack right away, but she wouldn’t be opposed to considering it if the right opportunity came along. Time would tell, but for now, she was going to have fun.
She moved through the trees, the open ocean no longer in direct view but the scent of salt still hung in the air. She weaved through the tangled roots sticking up from the soft, damp soil, leaping carefully over the waterways that ran through. The summer here seemed mild, and after her most recent experience with water, she preferred to stay dry for the time being.
